Help Us Map the Dachshund's Gait: Free Analysis Session!

We are excited to share a unique opportunity for all Dachshund owners to contribute to the health and welfare of our breed! We are partnering with veterinary specialists to offer a free gait analysis session at Pawra in Chiswick. This is a research project being run by Dr Matt Gurney, Vet Lead at Pawra.

Why Participate?

This project aims to collect essential data to establish normal values for the Dachshund breed. Your dog's participation, regardless of their IVDD history, will help create a vital dataset for future veterinary research.

What to Expect:

The session lasts a maximum of 30 minutes and involves your dog walking on a treadmill for approximately 30 seconds of stable gait capture. Afterwards, you will receive a report detailing your dog's key gait parameters.

Key Details:

  • Cost: Free of charge.

  • Location: Pawra, Chiswick (www.pawra.com).

  • Parking: Free for 2 hours in the nearby Sainsburys.

  • Availability: Sessions are available Tuesday to Saturday.

Registering Your Dachshund:

To register your appointment, please email Pawra. They will also need details of your vet so they can be courteously notified of the session.

As a thank you for participating, if you are ever concerned about a change in your dog's gait in the future, Pawra will offer you a repeat, chargeable session at a discounted rate of £50 (usually £70).
